Fred Zollner Athletic Stadium, completed in 2010, is a micro–stadium for football, lacrosse and soccer. With a capacity of more than 5,000 fans, the stadium is com-plete with four suites, press box, control room, a spacious hospitality box for sup-porters, and its open–air Thunder deck. The stadium provides a tremendous facility for both day and night games and practice for Thunder teams. The stadium also houses football offices, a weight room, sports medicine area, and a large score-board.

Executive Design & Engineering teamed up with Trine University facilities staff to evaluate shortcomings of their existing audio system and create a plan for an up-grade that suited both their budget and project time constraints.

The facility now features a state-of-the-art audio reinforcement system capable of meeting Indiana’s demanding outdoor environmental requirements. The result is a dynamic listening experience able to augment the exciting game day atmosphere for Trine University.
